series (16-15). Metro last held the series lead in 1998

since. It is the third shutout for Metro (1987, 1995,

Carlton Littlejohn's interception return for a touchdown
was the 13th defensive touchdown in All-Star Game
history and the first since 2005 (Nate Triplett 65 yard
interception return for Outstate). It was just the 5th
defensive touchdown for Metro and the first since 2001
(Rashon Powers-Neal 76 yard interception return.

Carlton Littlejohn is the first Minneapolis North player
to score in the All-Star Game since 1958. He is the
first Minneapolis City Conference player to score in the
All-Star Game since 1986.

Carlton Littlejohn is just the fifth player to have two
or more interceptions in the All-Star Game. The last
player to do it was Tim Rosga (Cretin-Derham Hall) in
1995 (4 interceptions).

Eden Prairie continued the longest active streak for
consecutive years represented in the All-Star
Game(1997-2010, 14 years). The longest overall streak is
23 years (Stillwater, 1976-1998).

The Lake Conference extended a streak of consecutive
years with at least one linebacker in the All-Star Game
(1997-2010, 14 years).

With RB Dajon Newell scoring a touchdown, players from
Lakeville North have scored in three consecutive
All-Star Games, which is a game record. Seven other
schools have had players score in two consecutive
All-Star Games.

With Dajon Newell (Lakeville North) and Brandon Wolf
(Rosemount) scoring points in 2010, players from the
Lake Conference have scored in six consecutive All-Star
Games, which is a game record.

Players from private schools have scored in four
consecutive All-Star Games (John Crockett, Totino-Grace
in 2010).

With the victory in 2010, Metro has won three
consecutive games, equaling the longest Metro winning
streak (also 1982-1984).

The Outstate Defensive MVP award won by Mitch Keenan was
the third MVP award for a Glencoe Silver Lake player and
the third in four years (2007, 2008, 2010).

The Metro Offensive MVP award won by Brandon Marquardt (Champlin
Park) was the second consecutive The Metro Offensive MVP
award to go to a player from the Northwest Suburban
Conference.

Colin Erickson is the second Alexandria quarterback to
win the Outstate Offensive MVP award (also Trent
Anderson in 1987). Ironically, both won the Outstate
Offensive MVP award in All-Star Games where Metro won in
a shutout (Metro 47-0 in 1987 and Metro 28-0 in 2010).
